Still I Ride
The world may roar with shadowed skies,
With tides that pull and cold goodbyes.
But out beyond the noise and fight,
I find the edge of morning light.
Each wave may rise to knock me down,
But salt and sun erase the frown.
I stand again, I face the swell—
A silent vow I will not tell.
For every storm that shakes the air,
There’s fire above that says, still dare.
So here I glide, my soul unchained—
Hope rides with me. I ride reclaimed.
