A Colourful Adventure
Armed with 4 sturdy RED hiking chairs
Bags of art, and aromatic tempting food
BLACK minibus fully loaded
A short journey to an obvious alluring GREEN Space
We passed a dried up stream
BROWN, pebbled ,an open view of it’s
GREY tunnels
Thankfully , Pennywise the clown
was not in town
Curious crayons handled and frantically applied
visions of weeping Willows
A fine eye on view for Oak’s shaded
beckoning colours
A rainbow had no chance today
certainly not from the Sky
Instead it’s R.O.Y.G.B.I.V colours from
magic pencil case joyfully applied
Landscape escape – some folk envisaged…….
Botanical bliss, BLUE-bells, dandelions
dotted en masse – mellow YELLOW
A stray brown branch
A flash of a bounding WHITE puppy dog
numerous watercolours
cried an artistic tear
eager , keen, imagination giddy
running wild
A new BANKSY waiting to be seen
Delightful sandwiches , fruits, snacks
were revealed from backpacks
shared , enjoyed
Some vivid organic RED juice from
a secret allotment was worthy
of the watercolours magic mix
Crimson, slate GREY , aquamarine , GOLD
are just around the corner
Let’s brave the weather , trust the naked eye
and hold our nerve
Remembering that watercolours are waiting, boxed, ready
for a flash of rustic autumnal inspiration !!!!
